Fiona set up Edinburgh Pet Services eleven years ago to provide a trusted, professional pet-care company for pet owners in Edinburgh, Scotland.
We searched for an Edinburgh dog walking company for our first Bedlington Terrier, Taz, when we moved home and could not find one that walked less than four dogs at a time, most walked eight dogs. We wanted our own dog to go on a walk in just a small group, so he would get more time and attention. Fiona has been an enthusiastic animal lover ever since she got a Siamese Seal Point for her 5th birthday. Now in her 40's she's owned many much loved pets over the years including dogs, cats, and small furries.

Fiona has a BSc and a Masters and has worked for The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland looking after all kinds of exotic animals in their education department. She has also enjoyed delivering animal handling classes and given regular educational talks to the public on everything from Rhinos to Giraffes! After a career in medical research she wanted to return to her true love of animals and hence Edinburgh Pet Services was born in 2010. It's been an amazing eleven years!

Fiona re-homed her current Bedlington Terrier, Gracie, from Leicester in England in February 2015, aged 3, whom she adores with all her heart. Setting up and running a pet-sitting company has allowed Fiona to follow her true passion for pets by looking after other peoples' fur-babies. Fiona is a member of NARPS UK and has a canine first aid certificate.

If Fiona ever wins the lottery, her dream is to rescue lots of animals and have a rescue full of pets.
